On Nov. 18, Miss UTSC: The Anti-Pageant promises to transform UTSC women “into our idea of a confident, healthy and happy ‘beauty queen.’” But reactions are mixed on campus.
Introducing Pizzeria Defina, one of Toronto’s latest eateries, located in High Park just outside the downtown core. Despite the peaceful neighbourhood, the journey itself was brutal in terms of travel time, as well as the lack of nearby parking and subway stations.
The Warrior Emperor, along with China’s Terracotta Army, is currently on display at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). The exhibit brings together nearly 250 artifacts and includes 10 life-sized terracotta figures from the pits of the First Emperor’s Terracotta Army.
As university begins, many first-year students will come to realize that you spend an excessive amount of time on campus, both in class and studying. Naturally, finding food becomes a necessity, especially when you don’t have time to make your own meals.
One of Toronto’s most unique attributes is its kaleidoscope of cultures and identities, and the harmony with which all of these interact and co-exist. Here at the UTSC, things are no different. T
