Where were the voters? Student interest in SCSU elections disparagingly low

On Feb. 16 to18, the UTSC student populace had the opportunity to elect the core of the new SCSU executive team for the 2011- 2012 academic year. An election that should have been a major hub of dialogue, furor, buzz and anticipation turned out to be nothing more than a mild distraction.

Burlesque gets the Male Touch: Male Troupe turns the popular striptease movement on its head

Four years ago Paley was at a burlesque show when he was called from the audience to do an amateur burlesque performance on stage. After the show Paley, a.k.a. James and the Giant Pasty, said he was inspired to create his own burlesque troupe—a male troupe.
